If one fancy to relish fresh catch sea food or grills and fries in middle of an ocean while under the star then Ocean Grill is the destination for the pleasure.In the company of shark on the wall, jellyfish hanging from ceiling, octopus embedded on the floor and fish friends inside aquarium who can relive the life of Pi sitting on boat loaded with exquisite cuisines from round the world.

The voyage to the ocean started with creations from bar deck through various mocktails. The barman was kind enough to showcase few of his creations outside orthodox menu. Shirley Temple is punch of strawberry crush with pineapple and orange juice, topped with vanilla ice cream and colorful sprinklers. Fruit Punch is a concoction of mixed fruit juice, vanilla ice cream and strawberry crush to give that creamy texture and topped with fresh fruits of choice.
Frozen Margarita is a strawberry crush iceberg drink while the most interesting one was Deep Sea which is a khus syrup based lemonade drink but served over bowl of live fish. Don’t eat them live, they only want to accompany you on table while you drink it down.
From the regular mocktail menu we had Orange Ginger Mojito, Pinacolada and Cinderella. But special mention for Guava Mary which is a spicy stuff due to Tabasco sauce mixed in guava juice and finished with chat masala, black salt and honey.
Now its time to move our focus towards appetizers. On our table we found Potato Cheese Jalapeno Croquette has an interesting mash-up of spicy jalapeno and potato and overfilled with tangy cheese which oozes out once served on your plate. Fish Bucket is crispy, flaky batter fried fresh fish fillet served with tartar sauce and salads. If you want to challenge your taste buds then Fiery Chili Lamb is the perfect solution. It has tender succulent meaty lamb chunks tossed in spicy chili sauce with bell peppers and onions. Chicken Wings are deep-fried then coated in a sauce consisting of a vinegar-based cayenne pepper hot sauce for that zing with each bite, makes a perfect company with chilled beverages.
Chicken Sultani Kebab is stuffed with ground lamb inside marinated juicy grill chicken, a must try. Chicken Reshmi Kebab are tender creamy chicken kebabs which comes with its own reputation, any introduction will be an insult to this legend.
Pork Spare Ribs comes with juicy tender spare ribs roasted and braised with kitchen’s special sauce served with french fries and salad. Chicken Cordon Bleu is one of the famous entries in their menu, has ham and cheese stuffed inside chicken breast. Coated with crumbs for the crispy texture served with roasted potato and salad while topped with dijon mustard cream.
Mutton Biryani is the classic one needs no introduction. The awesome biryani of Ocean Grill can be enjoyed with Chicken Changezi, which is another mughali masterpiece of pre-roasted chicken dish cooked in rich tomato onion gravy.
In desserts, we were presented Chocolate Profiteroles are fluffy pasty balls filled with creme, dipped in chocolate ganache and topped with sprinklers. Creme Brulee is simple yet elegantly baked silky smooth caramel custard with layers of caramel on top.
To sum up, was a great experience at Ocean Grill. Highly recommended to all foodies out there. Very warm behavior from staff and management ought to make you leave with a smile.
